These pages are being developed over time to become an authoritave repository of Australian Traditional Bush Music and other Australian music which represents our country and culture. There are sites on the web which carry lyrics to a lot of our old traditional songs, but none that I have been able to find which carry guitar chords or tab.

Being a guitarist myself I have decided to include this section in an effort to build a resource for any other muso's out there who wish to use it. Naturally, I don't want to do all the work, so I would love to have chords and tabs submitted by any readers of these pages.

SUBMITTING CHORD AND TAB FILES
Please email these to me using a plain text editor such as notepad. Include in the text the name of the song, the author where possible and if appropriate the singer and album from which you have worked out the music. All work submitted must be your own interpretation and carry the following heading:-

SONG INDEX

Songs commencing with the word "The" are indexed under the second word. For example, "The Dying Stockman" will be located under "D-F" in the index.

Some songs have two or more names unfortunately and this can make indexing difficult. Where I am aware of this, I have included alternate names under the titles of the songs and if you don't find the song under the name you know, then try using the search engine box for the site on the left hand side of this page. If you are aware of another name for a song which I haven't included, then please let me know and I will do so.
